This weekend in America, we give thanks for everything we have while secretly planning to leave our families and run outside to trample people for three dollar bras.Oh, but not I. I want football. I want food. I want peopleless stores. I want…
This is how I snack. You can keep your Doritos. I want my veggies. Cucumbers and a soy sour cream dip. Vegan-licious! Tasty too.
I love the holidays! Not just because it’s a day off from work and shear jubilation, but because it’s time to bring on the food! I keep a strict diet during regular days, but come any major holiday, nothing is off limits! Here are some of the goodies that made it into my mouth on July 4th.
Nothing is more yummy than an English fry up! Baked beans, eggs, sausages, black pudding, roasted tomatoes, ham, fried potatoes, white bread- get in my belly! But, see, I’m vegetarian and I don’t eat fried or processed foods, so I made a healthy alternative.
Breakfast for me is usually a protein shake as I’m running out the door for the bus to Midtown NYC. So there are times at night when I want a healthy version of a big English fry up!
