What exactly is Project Titan?

Project Titan brings a world out of reach for urban and under privileged kids to the touch of their hands. Most children in low income areas do not have smartphones, laptops, or wifi. This stiffens their learning and curiosity for how software and hardware work. The simple execution of opening up the Twitter app or playing mobile games.

Most well financed projects focus on a girls only initiative to bring more women into STEM fields. Project Titan looks to break that mold and welcomes both boys and girls in under served areas.

This project will include students receiving smartphones to take home and use with wifi, loaning out netbooks, building robots with Raspberry Pi boards, and writing software on cross platforms Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows.
