Even the Indian girl is left without snark when watching Gatorade’s new ad. Try as she might, she ended up giving Derek Jeter credit.

“I don’t even like the Yankees. Yes, I live in the Financial District, but I was born in Miami. Yankees? Ew. No!”

She continued with thoughts on the advertisement.

“I hate most commercials, that’s why I don’t pay for cable. You’re paying for that airtime. I also can’t stand Derek Jeter because he’s not a Marlin, and Gatorade is over priced sugar water. But I like it! Mostly I like the music and the black and white. Okay, I like Sinatra. I love music from the 40s through the 60s.”

“So, then you really didn’t like the ad?” pressed the interviewer.

“I just said I liked the music! Weren’t you listening? I like that it was shot in New York. I like the little kids running through the park. I like how the city likes Jeter. He’s their boy. Replace him with Dwayne Wade and I get sentimental. Wade is Miami, Jeter is New York. I get that. I like that. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy- even though it might be my fever.”

But she wasn’t done yet.

“I think Cameron Diaz should have been in the video. Definitely. Yup, that’s the only think that would have made it better.”

This interview is definitely over.
